The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre team performs impactful work by improving mental health outcomes for children, youth and their families. As an established team, they collaborate closely with social workers, childcare counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists, teachers, healthcare workers and clinicians. What makes this team special is their caring and compassionate approach, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for both their clients and colleagues.
The Nurse 4 role performs vital work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, providing direct, comprehensive nursing care to clients at The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre. This position impacts the lives of youth, families, and communities by offering on-site, community, outreach and ancillary mental health services. Qualifications for this role include:
- Registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM) with a designation of RPN or RN.
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Preference may be given to the following:
- Recent (within the past 3 years) work experience in the field of adolescent psychiatry.
