Clinical Nurse Educator North

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is located in Inuvik or Norman Wells and is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority Clinical Education programs for nurses, practitioners, and health care aides in the Beaufort Delta and Sahtu regions.  The CNE ensure that high quality programs are provided that ensure continuing competency of nursing staff in the Beaufort Delta and Sahtu Regions.

Salaries start at $100,269, plus a Northern Living Allowance ($14,661 for Inuvik, $20,723 for Norman Wells), health and dental benefits, a generous pension plan, outstanding leave benefits, relocation assistance, and professional development opportunities and education support. Our graduate nurses are also typically eligible for student loan forgiveness through Canada’s Loan Forgiveness program.

This job typically requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a minimum of three (3) years work-related experience in an acute care health care setting including a minimum of two (2) years' experience providing clinical education.
