About the Role

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for skilled Registered Nurses with a passion for cardiac care to join our Coronary Care Unit (CCU). You will have a central role in delivering individualised nursing care, co-ordination and monitoring of treatment while offering information and support to families and whanau. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cardiac knowledge and be part of a skilled, small team based in Whangarei Hospital.

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong desire and ability to work as part of a positive and productive team, be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.

You will need:

  • A current annual practising certificate
  • Cardiac assessment skills
  • Computer operating skills
  • Minimum two years’ experience working in an acute medical or cardiac setting
