Position Summary

Are you a Registered Nurse who is experienced in acute medical nursing and passionate about providing high quality, patient centered care? If so, prepare to join our cohesive team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. We are seeking MULTIPLE permanent full time registered nurses for this busy unit.

Located in Cranbrook, between Kimberley and Fernie, EKRH is a 75 bed regional referral centre for patients and smaller community hospitals throughout the designated health service area. EKRH offers physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, acute medical and surgical and obstetrical care as well as Lab services.

The hospitals’ busy 27 bed medical inpatient unit is currently seeking Registered Nurses to join the team of RNs and LPNs on a relief full time capacity.

Shift types are days and nights and shifts are rotating 12 hour from 07:00-19:00 and 19:00–07:00 hours.

Education, Training and Experience:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

**Previous acute medical experience would be considered an asset.
