Lambton College is seeking an individual to join its world class Faculty as a Professor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Reporting to the Associated Dean of the School of Health, Community Services & Creative Design, you will demonstrate commitment to teaching in a student centred environment, participate in curriculum development, and conduct research as it relates to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree program at Lambton College. Faculty of our BScN program ensure successful progression through the academic requirements by way of diverse clinical placement experiences, simulation-based learning, group study and interactive teaching strategies resulting in a BScN degree.

The Professor will be responsible for providing academic course leadership and for developing an effective learning environment through the design and delivery of various teaching strategies that promote student success; defining and evaluating learning outcomes; and developing/selecting appropriate learning materials. You will be expected to support student learning and progress, create assessments, rubrics, and evaluate student achievement.

Active participation in developing and modifying curriculum, participation in various committees, employing best practices from across the college system, and maintaining professional competency and Nursing knowledge are essential components of this position. In this role, you will work collaboratively to ensure excellence in undergraduate teaching, quality program delivery and exemplary student experiences.

You will have the opportunity to engage in research and scholarly activities related to Health Sciences and teach theoretical nursing concepts, experiential learning lab on college campus and clinical courses in a variety of healthcare settings. Program promotion and student recruitment are essential areas of responsibility for faculty members within the BScN team.
