Hourly Wage:   $28.43-$32.98

The Role

The LPN provides safe nursing care to residents in collaboration with RNs, RPNs and other health care providers within a multidisciplinary team.  The LPN carries out nursing functions related to the safe day-to‑day care of clients and residents of the Broadmead Care, including providing clinical direction to the Health Care Workers and delivering safe direct care to residents.  This work is carried out in accordance with the Professional Standards of Practice for the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) as well as the purpose and values of Broadmead Care

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a recognized nursing program
• Current registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Recent experience in long-term care
• Negative TB screen

Benefits for auxiliary on-call employees: In addition, in lieu of health and welfare benefits, you shall receive $0.78/hour to a maximum of $54.60/bi-weekly pay period. Further, you will earn vacation pay at the rate of 6% of regular earnings which will be paid to you on a bi-weekly basis
