Why Broadmead Care?

Broadmead Care’s Purpose is To build communities where every person can enjoy wellbeing and happiness. It’s not just about the work you do; it’s about bringing meaning and joy to the veterans, seniors, and adults with disabilities we are privileged to care for. It’s not just about the science; it’s about the spirit – helping our residents live with dignity, purpose, compassion, and love. When people receive compassionate care that recognizes them for who they are, the door opens for extraordinary relationships to flourish.

While we are one of the larger long term care employers in the South Island, we believe in treating each other, the people who live with us, and their loved ones, like family. We believe in a community of care, and we believe in teamwork. Together we have faced the COVID-19 pandemic, and together we are stronger for our successful experiences. Together we look towards a hopeful future, and together we eagerly wait for you to join us.

Broadmead Care is an exceptional employer with an amazing reputation. With five Care Homes located on Southern Vancouver Island, we offer generous wages, extended health benefits, and vacation time. We are members of the BC Public Service Pension Plan which has transfer agreements with most provincial Public Service Pension Plans.  Ask us about relocation assistance.
