The UAH is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized patient care within the Medicine program for the General Internal Medicine program. This role will allow you to apply your clinical Nurse Practitioner (NP) experience and collaborate as part of a large interdisciplinary team. Comprehensive knowledge base and excellent ability to apply it in an integrated primary care facility required. The Nurse Practitioner will be a clinical resource and leader of ongoing professional development and excellence in clinical practice. There is an expectation of leadership ability, excellent clinical skills in acute care (general medicine focus), and strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Flexible team player required. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for working within their scope of practice to provide care for patients including, but not limited to: Ordering diagnostic tests and medications, completing admissions, history and physical assessment on patients.
