Penticton Regional hospital is in the process of expanding and the doors to the new brand new $312m David E. Kampe Tower are scheduled to open April 28, 2019. This new six-storey tower will feature new medical/surgical units, new ambulatory care center, five operating rooms, three minor procedure rooms, two endoscopy rooms and one cystoscopy room, as well as a new medical device reprocessing department. 

We are seeking registered nurses to join our medical/surgical team during this exciting expansion for levels 5 and 6 of the new David E. Kampe Tower (DKT). These new units will feature 28 beds with all private rooms that are band new, fully equipped and feature private bathrooms. 

We are hiring registered nurses to join our team now to prepare for the expansion and transfer over to the new facility. RNs hired prior to April will be orientated to 2 or 3 units as relief to begin working in our current facility and will assist in the training and transfer over to the new tower.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
