Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse Manager

Position:                      Full-Time Registered Nurse (or RPN) Manager

Location:                     Williams Lake, BC

Hours:                          40 hours per week

Wage:                           $83,000 to start - salary based on skills an experience

Start Date:                   April 2021

Summary:

 The Manager (RN or RPN) will provide clinical expertise and guide a multi-disciplinary team of LPNs and Withdrawal Management workers from various disciplines. The role includes front line nursing care and leadership, coordinating logistics to deliver care in our 4-bed inpatient setting.

Education / Training / Experience:

  • Management experience
  • Mental health and substance use experience
  • Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the - BC College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM)
  • Minimum 1 + year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience recognized by BCCNM

Requirements:

  • Current Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) Certification
  • Approved Criminal Record Check & RCMP Check
  • Computer literacy
  • Safe driving record abstract
  • Safe driving record, valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and 2 million ICBC Insurance
  • Pre-employment drug test

  • Knowledge of theory, principles and practices working with addiction issues
