Requirements

  • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
  • degree or diploma in nursing
  • credentials evaluated by a recognized credential assessment service if you went to school outside of Canada
  • at least two years of experience acquired within the last five years related to performing complex activities in a wide variety of situations in one or more of the following areas: primary care; acute or intensive care; urgent or emergency care; community health (public health and home and community care)
  • occupational certification as a registered nurse or eligible to be a registered nurse by the time of your appointment in the province where the position is located
