Care Manager - Long Term Care

Broadmead Care Society has an excellent opportunity for a Care Manager at Veterans Memorial Lodge in Saanich, located just outside of Victoria, BC. Located adjacent to Broadmead Village, Veterans Memorial Lodge is home for 225 seniors and veterans who require long-term care services.  The building is situated on 6.5 acres surrounded by Garry Oak meadows, with views of Rithet’s Bog Park and the Olympic Mountains.

The Role

Under the direction of the Director, the Care Manager coordinates and supervises the delivery of nursing care to the residents to create an environment where love, life and living matter.  The Care Manager ensures resident focused care is achieved in the home, in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.

What You Bring

Along with your passion for exception care, you have:

• Graduated from a recognized nursing program
• Current registeration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) 
• Post RN/RPN education in Gerontology and 3 - 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience with long-term care is an asset. 

All employees must provide proof of a negative TB screen and proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
