Addiction & Mental Health (A&MH) unites more than 9,000 AHS employees throughout the province. The A&MH portfolio coordinates, plans, delivers and evaluates a province wide network of AHS programs and contracted services. As the Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of operations for Addictions and Mental Health at the Chinook Regional Hospital through organizing and leading services delivered within the unit by providing daily direction and supervision. You will be an advocate in supporting the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services and Addiction and Mental Health in the South Zone by actively participating as a member of the South Zone Addiction and Mental Health Leadership Teams.


Qualifications

  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA).
  • Graduate of a recognized nursing education program.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
  • A minimum of five (5) years work experience in Addiction & Mental Health, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity in the last seven (7) years.
