Qualifications: |

Required qualifications: - Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). - Graduate of an approved nursing education program. - A minimum of 2 years in a management role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Preferred qualifications: - Rural nursing/healthcare experience. Additional qualifications: - Progressive leadership experience in a health care environment, including experience in a management role in health service operations. - Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. - Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. - Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues - Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. - Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. - Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. - Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver customer focused results.
