Broadmead Care is a rapidly growing organization in Victoria, BC with a reputation for high quality services, innovation and leading practices. We are funded by Island Health, Veterans Affairs Canada and BC Housing to provide a range of health care programs and services on four sites including residential complex care and adult day programs for Veterans and seniors, and residential complex care for adults with disabilities.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP, Residential and Community Care works closely with our Medical Staff, Site Managers and interdisciplinary team and is responsible for the leadership, planning, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of all clinical programs and services provided by Broadmead Care. Responsibilities include leading a skilled management team in the day to day coordination and supervision of clinical program delivery; clinical program innovation and development, evaluation and education; hiring and performance management of key Team Members; strategic planning, accreditation and quality improvement. The Vice President provides leadership, vision, direction, support, motivation and oversight to all Team Members and fosters a culture of safety, caring and teamwork. This role will appeal to leaders who like to hold themselves accountable and drive change.
Candidates would usually be a Registered Nurse (RN), eligible for registration with CRNBC and preferably have a Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related health care leadership discipline. Candidates should have 7-10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a unionized, multi-site health care environment, a strong clinical background in senior’s care and a passion for quality improvement. Experience managing programs for difficult to house populations with behavioral and mental health challenges is also an asset.
